KHAIRPUR: The dead bodies of two missing students were found from the Rohri Canal near Ranipur on Friday.
According to the Ranipur police, two students – including 9-year-old Jamaluddin Abro and his 12-year-old friend Uzair Mahesar– had gone missing two days ago on last Wednesday.
Abro was a student of class four and studied with Mahesar at Mazhar Model School in Ranipur.
Their parents and neighbours had mounted a search and finally found the bodies of their children from Rohri Canal after two days on Friday.
The bodies were shifted to a Ranipur hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to their parents.
Police have registered a case and are further investigating the matter.
