MUMBAI: As Rani Mukerji’s Hichki hits theatres on Friday, Aamir Khan joined the other Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor in sharing the biggest hiccup he has faced in life.
Speaking in a video for the film, Aamir said that his biggest hiccup is that he has an obsessive personality and admitted that he has not been able to rectify this to date.
“The struggle continues,” Aamir said.
He added that he sends wishes to the entire team of the film and hopes that after watching the film, he will also overcome this.
Similarly, other actors also revealed their shortcoming and low points in life. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan said that the lowest low in his career was the death of his parents, while Katrina Kaif revealed that she hit a low when a choreographer commented that she did not know how to dance.
Salman Khan revealed that he would take his work very casually. However, he said that he has overcome that hurdle and now takes his work seriously.
Actor Ajay Devgan said that before the release of his first film, he heard people comment that he was not ‘hero material.’ However, he added that he did not let this pull him down and advised everyone to overcome their fears and shortcomings.
In the film, Hichki, Rani plays an aspiring teacher who has tourette syndrome (a disorder which forces an individual to make involuntary repetitive movements or sounds). The film that focuses on turning disadvantages into opportunities and staring down at challenges that life throws at one and ultimately winning over them.
Hichki is Rani’s comeback film after Mardaani which released in 2014.
