Young doctors strike continues in all the government hospitals of Quetta and Balochistan despite the decision of suspending 120 doctors.
Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and senior doctors of BMC hospital and SindYemen provincial hospital are also on strike.
According to YD the emergency units and accident departments of all the government hospitals are open but rest of the departments are closed due to strike.
OPD’s and General Operation theaters in all the big government hospitals of Balochistan, hospitals in interior Balochistan, and district headquarter hospitals remained closed due to the strike.
The poor patients have been deprived of the basic health necessities due to this long stretched young doctor’s strike. Tension between the patients and medical officers has also increased to a remarkable level. Patients are heading to the private hospitals.
