Environment Protection Department (EPD) of the City District Government Lahore imposed Rs 11,300 fine on the owners of 62 smoke emitting and noise generating vehicles,in different parts of the city on Saturday.
According to EPD sources monitoring teams checked 178 vehicles including buses, rickshaws, cars and motorbikes at Allama Iqbal Road, Chauburgi and Lower Mall to assess fitness as per Environment Quality Standards.
