Sindh Rangers on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 10 alleged criminals, including two Lyari gang war members, during targeted operations in different parts of the megacity.
According to Rangers’ spokesperson, the paramilitary forces carried out targeted raids in Modal Colony and Saeedabad areas and arrested two Lyari gang war members, Bahadur and Sadam Hussain.
Separately, rangers conducted raids in Ittehad town, Madina Colony, Jamshed Quarters and Saeedabad and apprehended eight street criminals, Abdul Hafiz, Amjad Ali, Salman, Nazim Hussain, Ali Hussan, Sher Muhammad, Nazir Ahmed and Muhammad Khalid.
The arrested accused were said to be involved in extortion, land grabbing, drug peddling and other crimes.
The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, bullets, drugs, and contrabands from their possession.
