At least three persons, including a security official and two volunteers, were injured when insurgents attacked a Frontier Constabulary (FC) camp on Friday.
According to a private television channel, a gang of insurgents attacked the FC camp in Khawezai tehsil of Mohmand Agency, injuring a Khasadar and two volunteers.
The attackers managed to escape from the scene.
The insurgents had stepped up attacks on the security officials in the tribal areas for the last few days.
Separately, the law enforcement agencies have arrested four insurgents from Khushal Gharh bridge near Kohat and recovered hand grenades and arms from them.
On Thursday, insurgents attacked a checkpoint in South Waziristan, killing eight security officials.
