A-level student shot dead for resisting robbery in Karachi

KARACHI: A young student was killed for resisting robbery in Karachi on Wednesday night, reported local media.

Unknown robbers intercepted the A-Level student to loot in the metropolis’ Gulistan-e-Johar area when the deceased tried to fail the bid. Subsequently, the robbers opened fire on him, killing the boy on the spot.

Karachi police are conducting raids to trace the culprits, however, no any arrests have been made in this regard.

In separate raids conducted by law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in Orangi Town, Mominabad, and Frontier Colony, police rounded up four suspects. The suspects include drug-peddlers, dacoits and other criminals.

Weapons, contraband, and mobile phones were seized from the arrested suspects, police officials said.
