DUBAI: Eoin Morgan and Jason Roy have joined their respective franchises for the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 matches.

Both English players were busy spent the winter in Australia and New Zealand. England defeated New Zealand in the ODI series by 3-2

Opener Jason Roy will be playing from Quetta Gladiators. He has joined their squad in Dubai.

“Learnt a huge amount this winter in Australia and New Zealand. Loved every minute. Cant wait to join up with @TeamQuetta in the @thePSLt20. See you all in Dubai!” Roy said in his tweet.

On the other hand, former England captain Eoin Morgan has joined the Karachi Kings lineup.

Since the star batsman Kevin Pietersen has refused to visit Pakistan for eliminators and final and all-rounder Shane Watson is still ‘undecided’ and awaits family permission, Gladiators could face a shortage of overseas players for the coming phase if it qualified.

Responding to the woes, the Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz had said that it was up to the players to make good decisions for them themselves and the team, highlighting that the franchise had replacement players who are willing to come to Pakistan like last year.

Meanwhile, a number of overseas players are willing to join Pakistan leg of PSL, including Luke Ronchi, Liam Dawson, JP Duminy, Darren Sammy, Shane Watson, Andre Fletcher, Carlos Brathwaite, Imran Tahir, Luke Ronchi, Colin Ingram, Colin Munro, Darren Bravo, Sam Billings, Tamim Iqbal and David Wiese.
