Met office predicts fresh wave of rain, snowfall across country

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a fresh wave of rain across the country on Thursday.

According to Met office, a westerly wave of rain is expected to enter western parts of the country which may cause rain in upper parts on Thursday and Friday.

Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected in few regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), FATA, Upper Punjab including Lahore, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, rain and snowfall are expected in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat and Sukkur divisions.

Meanwhile, the northern areas including Malakand, Hazara divisions, Murree and Galliyat regions may have snowfall in next two days.
