LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan leader Senator Sirajul Haq has said that troika of Israel, India and the US is trying to isolate Pakistan by getting it declared a terror-supporter state but the government did not seem to be worried on this count at all.

Addressing the concluding session of the two-day leadership workshop at Mansoora on Sunday, he said that the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) at its Paris meeting had decided to keep the matter pending till June but the country’s enemies were sparing no efforts in this direction.

On the other hand, he said that the government was in a state of confrontation with institutions and every effort was being made to save an individual while the national interests were totally ignored. He said that if the situation remained the same, the enemy might succeed in its designs.

In India, Hindu organisations were massacring the Muslims, he said, adding that Indian troops in Kashmir had been busy in the genocide of the Kashmiri people for decades. He also said that the Indian consulates in Afghanistan were infiltrating terrorists and saboteurs for terrorism in this country.

“Indian forces are violating the Line of Control every day and killing innocent citizens,” he said, adding that Pakistan was in the dock and was being blamed for terrorism only because of its poor diplomacy. He said the Pakistani agencies had so much evidence against India that they could easily bring New Delhi on the defensive at the international level.

He said that Pakistan’s society was oppressed and slavish and its politics, economy and education system were all slaves. He said that the entire population was guarding the interests of two per cent of the people who enjoyed the backing of the international media and establishment.

He said that the Jamaat was endeavouring to change this system and become the representatives of the oppressed. Siraj told his party’s leadership at provincial and district levels to carry on their mission with full confidence and focus on the next elections. He said that they must make the masses stand against the corruption mafia.
