Police arrest 13 criminals, seize drugs, weapons in Islamabad

Capital police have arrested 13 outlaws from various parts of the city during operation and seized drugs and weapons, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

The spokesman further said that police had recovered 6.250 kilograms of hashish, 15 liquor bottles, four pistols, mobile phones and looted items from their possession.

During operation, Sub-Inspector Abdul Ghafoor from Shahzad Town Police Station nabbed two thieves Arshad and Imran and recovered stolen televisions and mobile phones from their possession. An accused Imran Alias Manga was arrested in possession of 22 bore pistol while an accused Bawar Khan was arrested for having a 30 bore pistol.

Islamabad Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of the police officials who arrested these culprits and directed all police officials to intensify efforts against the anti-social elements.
