In another statement, the KESC strongly condemned the target killing of one of its senior officials, Col (retd) Muhammad Ali Saqi, who was an integral part of the KESC security department. Saqi was an extremely dedicated and hardworking member of the team that was assigned the task of eradicating corruption within KESC and the government must take serious notice of this extreme act of terrorism against an important official of the company and ensure security of the people and the assets of KESC, the statement added.
The KESC management also expressed deep condolence and solidarity with the family of the deceased and urged the government to bring his murderers to justice. “His killing would adversely affect our efforts to eradicate the menace of corruption within the KESC ranks,” said one of the KESC officials. He added that the tragic demise of Saqi had come at a time when KESC was up against both internal and external forces, resisting the change and reform process in the KESC.

Col. Saqi was the doubtful to the KESC Management, regarding information of the Corruptions in the New Connections Department, to the higher Management through a unanimous E- Mail account""[email protected]"", after his officially submitted reports were denied by his bosses in the KESC Inteligence Department. He was very much happy to get rewards by reporting the KESC Feeder Policy Violations against KESC itself, Govt. and the customer interests. Further, the new info by Faisal Khan above indicates the HR actions in terminating Faisal Khan in March, then getting him back on a great source, with political pressure in Dec 2011, inspite he was honest, reported corruption in same one case, which were initially reported by Col Saqi. Now he is out of New Connections Department and the management letting, the old corrupt legacy, washing their hands on a new Feeder contribution Policy, which is also not acceptable to NEPRA, After above 27/10 /2010, corruption report by Faisal Khan, New Connections Officials were in hurry to contact with NEPRA for getting a refusal reply ( regarding feeder contribution at < 2400 kW applied loads) from NEPRA , which they succeeded to prove them from NEPRA, that feeder charges were not due over loads below 2400 kW cases ( against prevailing feeder policy dt. 28/04/2004, further circulated for continuation on DT.15/10 2009, but repeatedly violated by them in many cases) NEPRA Record shows KESC contacts in this matter after 27/10/2010. However the actions taken against Faisal Khan an honest GM shows involvement of KESC Head HR Group Asir Manzur. Further that he is again in the KESC but removed from New Connections Deptt. There is a big Chain envolved in above , every one who speaks against Corruptions is terminated by irrational charges against him

  2. Faisal Khan informing nothing, off course NEPRA confirmed the KESC contacts in Feeder Charging regards in the same time as in above statement. KESC High Officials in HR are afraid of informing and not speaking on the topic, show that there is fact in the above statement. Rauf Yousuf's envolvement is indicated in contacts with NEPRA, but he is also seen most afraid person of the KESC. His expressions show that he is fully envolved. Yet the persons detecting such high corruptions are invited here or at any where on the WEB to write the facts, and they will be saved. The issue pertains to the NAB Pakistan in the end of 2012. It is however not acceptable that CEO Tabish the most sincere with the owners is not taking interest in Huge Losses to the KESC by it's own group incharges. If Policies are violated, corruption cases may be compared with written policies, by a committee totally new, w/o envolvement of NC Department. Sincerity goes with personal interests or it may be awaited till the end of 2012.
