Teenage girl gang-raped in Larkana

LARKANA: A 13-year-old girl Noor Bano, daughter of Liaquat Ali Mirani, was gang-raped by five men on Sunday. Two accused, namely Shahrukh Mirani and Zeeshan Mirani, were arrested by Waleed Police while three others remain at large.

According to the police, the girl came to Larkana with her family from Ratodero two days ago to attend a family function at their relative’s house in Garibabad.

SHO Abdul Malik Kamangar said that an FIR had been registered at the police station by the girl’s father in which the two arrested were nominated.

He further said that the girl was taken to Chanda Medical College Hospital by the police for medical examination where it was confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted. DNA samples had been obtained for further investigation, he added.
