LAHORE: Six local leaders of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Calling on PTI central Punjab leader Aleem Khan in Lahore, the local leaders announced joining the PTI and reposed full confidence in the leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Aleem claimed that six local leaders from Lodhran and other areas met him in Lahore and assured their support to the PTI’s candidate in the Lodhran by-polls.
The local leaders belong to the Arain community and enjoy full popularity in their respective areas, he said while adding that the PTI was gaining popularity from Khyber to Karachi and people in large numbers were joining the PTI.
