Pakistan Customs reshuffles 35 officers

ISLAMABAD: The tax department of Pakistan Customs on Friday reshuffled at least 35 officers belonging to the basic pay scale (BPS) of 17 to 19.

Notifications available with Pakistan Today indicate that Usman Bajwa, a grade 19 officer of Pakistan Customs, transferred to Islamabad for the slot of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) secretary (Customs Wing).

Sanaullah Abro has been posted to Additional Collector (JIAP) Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive Karachi; Muhammad Saleem Memon to Secretary (Customs Wing) FBR; Yousaf Haidar Orakzai to Additional Collector Model Customs Collectorate Gilgit Baltistan; Tayyeba Kayani Moeed to Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Lahore; and Azoodul Mehdi to additional director, Directorate of Training and Research (Customs), Islamabad.

Moreover, Karam Elahi, Muhammad Ahsan Khan, Tasleem Akhtar, Muteen Alam, Syed Fazal Sammad have been transferred as well.

In addition to this, some seventeen officers of grade 18 have also been transferred to different stations. The names include Nawabzadi Aliya Dilawar, Yousaf Khan Magsi, Tauqeer Ahmad Dar, Ali Raza Turabi, Shakir Muhammad, Muhammad Hassan Farid, Naveed Abbas Memon, Rana Irfan Shaukat, Zakir Muhammad, Fazli Shakoor, Zehra Tahir Naqvi, Muhammad Rizwan, Haleema Raza, Saher Yasir, Dr Tahir Iqbal Khattak, Amjad Aman, and Muhammad Akbar Jan.

The grade 17 officers posted to new positions are Dr Imran Rasool Khan, Ubaidullah, Jam Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Irsalan, Farhat H Khan, Muhammad Zohaib and Quratulain Ramay.

In addition, Dr Shamsul Hadi, a grade 20 officer of IRS, has been transferred from Karachi Commissioner office to IRS Commissioner, Islamabad, while Sardar Ali Khawaja has been appointed to Chief (Legal Wing) FBR, Islamabad.
