KARACHI: Sindh Secretary Excise, Taxation and Narcotics (ETN) Abdul Haleem Shaikh on Tuesday said that all stakeholders including parents, teachers, students and government departments should work together to eradicate the use of drugs from the society.
He expressed these views at the National Museum Karachi, according to a press release.
On the occasion, ETN Director General Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said that it is essential to raise awareness about drugs and we all have to work for this cause.
Siddiqui told that Excise department that Sindh collects the tax under seven different heads. He said that the department aims to collect Rs62 billion during the ongoing fiscal year as compared to Rs53 billion collected last year.
