Zainab’s brutal rape and murder weeks ago touched people in ways like never before. It sparked an immense outrage against such acts and those who commit them and many celebrities came forth to show support to bring Zainab justice.
Bohemia, the California-based Pakistani rapper, popular across the globe, released a new track titled, Gumraah dedicated it to “all the lives lost around the world to abuse and violence.”
The song’s lyrics paint a bleak picture of society and how humanity has lost its way. It talks about people not having any dignity anymore Bohemia also touches on things like widespread corruption and greed in the nearly five-minute-long track. Bohemia further continues in the song that everyone is stuck in their own bubbles but regardless of everything, there is still hope in the world.
In a tweet announcing the song, Bohemia wrote, “Asi #Gumrah sare – Dedicated to Zainab and children, like her around the world.”
