Despite sacking of 127 doctors by the Balochistan government, young doctors here continued their strike on Friday.
According to the details, young doctors in four big hospitals of Quetta, Civil Hospital, BMC Hospital, Fatima Jinnah Hospital and Helper Eye Hospital were on strike since April 19. Operation theatres and outpatient departments (OPDs) in government hospitals were giving a deserted look as there was no doctor to look after the patients.
The doctors were demanding pay scale enforced in the federal as well as security.
