ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday said people have buried negative sit-in politics by boycotting the public meeting of united opposition led by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
Reacting to the public gathering of in Lahore, Iqbal said no one can crash development and progress of Pakistan through disorder.
He further said both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari are riding the same boat.
Affirming the pro-development policies of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he said the PML-N-led government pulled the country out of danger, adding people are standing with this party.
Like 2013 general elections, the PML-N would emerge as victorious, and take more seats in 2018 as well, the minister concluded.
