Major reshuffling of Punjab high-ups

In a major reshuffle, the Punjab government transferred 21 officers including two DIGs, an RPO, three DCOs and two City Police Officers (CPOs). The Services department issued a notice in this regard on Thursday.
According to the notification, Lahore DIG Operations Rao Sardar Ali replaced Sargodha Regional Police Officer (RPO) Javed Islam, who has already been transferred and posted as the Punjab DIG Investigations. Gujranwala CPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar was transferred and posted as the Lahore DIG Operations, while Faisalabad CPO Dr Usman was made Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
Home Department Additional Secretary Captain (r) Saifullah Anjum was transferred and posted as the Okara DCO, while Additional Secretary Finance Asim Iqbal was made the Bahawalnagar DCO. Okara DCO Babar Shafi has been transferred and posted as the Education Additional Secretary, while services of Bahawalnagar DCO Amir Jan have been placed at the disposal of Home Department.
Kasur EDO (F&P) Irshad Hussain Shah has replaced Kasur DCO Mohammed Jehanzeb, who has already been transferred and posted as the Industries Department Deputy Secretary. Bhawalnagar DCO Hamza Ali has been transferred and posted in the Higher Education Department. Multan District Regional Transport Authority (DRTA) Secretary Tariq Mahmood, under transfer as Sheikhupura DRTA Secretary, has been posted as Sargodha DRTA Secretary against a vacant post.
Transfer of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mall Department Section Officer Zafar Iqbal Kiani has been cancelled. Kamoke Assistant Commissioner Nadia Shafique has been transferred and posted as the Mianwali PESRP District Monitoring Officer against a vacant post. Khushab Assistant Commissioner Sumaira Zaheer was transferred and posted as the Kamoke Assistant Commissioner. Mianwali Anti-Corruption Establishment Assistant Director Qamar-uz-Zaman Qaisrani has been transferred and posted as the Khushab Assistant Commissioner.
Zafarwal Assistant Commissioner Wasif Bashir Khokhar and Anti-Corruption Establishment Gujrat Assistant Director Shabir Hussain Cheema have replaced each other. S&GAD Motor Transport Officer-I Maqbool Ahmad Ijaz has been transferred and posted as the Muridke Assistant Commissioner. Sargodha Deputy District Officer (HRM) Ayesha Mumtaz has been transferred and posted as the Forests Department Section Officer. Services of Mushtaq Ahmad, awaiting posting in S&GAD, have been placed at the disposal of S&GAD Secretary (Archives).
Meanwhile, the provincial government has extended the service of Fatima Jinnah Medical College Associate Professor of Medicine Khalid Mahmood Khan for one year.
