GOC visits Gwadar Port

Islamabad: The commanding officer 33rd division, Maj Gen Nadeem Zaki visited the Gwadar Port to review the security measures being provided by the Pakistan Army at the port that is under construction at a rapid pace.

According to the Gwadar Port officials, the commanding officer was received at the port by China Overseas Ports Holdings Company Limited (COPHC) chairman, Zhang Boazhong and Gwadar Port Authority chairman, Dostain Khan Jamaldini.

Maj Gen Zaki visited the construction site of the Gwadar Free Zone, the main entrance gate, business centre, the exhibition hall, the water desalination plant, the Gwadar International Airport Terminal and the China Town. He was briefed on the latest developments of various projects and also about the security arrangements at the Gwadar Port.

Maj Gen Zaki was impressed to see the pace of development at the Gwadar Port.
