Parineeti Chopra made a tremendous comeback after a short hiatus from the Bollywood film industry. Not only is the actor sporting a sculpted and toned body, she has also become sassier and more feisty.

Speaking to a leading daily, Parineeti spoke about the notion of female actors not getting along and there being cat-fights on the sets of a film in which actresses are cast.

Parineeti remarked, “I started with a film [Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl; 2011] where there were four girls. I did another film Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) with another female actress [Vaani Kapoor] as the main lead. My last film, Golmaal Again (2017), had about 19 actors in all. There was Tabu ma’am and me and there was all the love in the world. So, there can actually be scenarios where [female] co-actors get along and work very well together.”

The actress who delivered a superhit with Golmaal Again last year also shared her take on rumors and gossips. She said, “I feel that a single statement [made] by somebody becomes a gossip, and then it travels until it gets bigger and becomes a rumoured story. That’s what I believe in and I, myself, have seen it.”

Parineeti is currently busy shooting for Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar with Arjun Kapoor and has been stationed in Pithoragarh for quite some time and has wrapped up major portions of the film. The duo is reuniting five years after their stellar performance in Ishaqzaade.

About him, she had said, “If I hear anything negative about him, I will stand up and defend Arjun till the day I die. He is one of the most special people in my life.’’
