DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman vowed Thursday to continue the struggle for resolving the problems of the masses in the area.

Addressing a meeting of party workers at village-1 here, the JUI-F chief said that the party had emerged as the largest party in the country by leaving no stone unturned to raise a voice in support of the suppressed and poor people.

He said that the party workers should not consider themselves isolated as each worker was a precious asset whose opinion carried weight.

He further said that JUI-F had always promoted constructive politics in the country and abstained from using foul language against opponents, adding that other political parties should not consider our politeness as our weakness and shun any sort of illusion that they had in this regard.

He claimed that his party would emerge victorious in the next general elections on the basis of its performance and service to the masses.

Terming his opponents as “immature politicians”, Fazlur Rehman said that they would suffer a defeat in the upcoming general elections as they had badly failed to deliver or honour their promises made with the masses during the previous election campaign.

He also said that, “Dera Ismail Khan was his district and he will continue efforts for the socio-economic development of the district”. The opponents had always taken care of their personal interests and failed to extend relief to the masses on any level, he alleged.
