PPP to launch public mobilisation drive in Sindh, Punjab

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has decided to launch a public mobilisation drive in Punjab and Sindh.

The decision was taken during a high-level consultative meeting chaired by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday.

During the meeting, PPP has also decided not to form an alliance with any political party for the next general elections.

“PPP will contest elections on its own symbol and the party will nominate candidates in every constituency across the country,” said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

During the meeting, it was also decided if  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif level any allegation against PPP, a “befitting” response will be given.
