LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan instructed to complete the new building of assembly secretariat by March 2018 after inspecting the construction work on here Wednesday.
The speaker instructed the officials not to compromise on modern standards during construction work while adding that foolproof security arrangements must be kept in mind.
Earlier in the day, he chaired a meeting to review the progress on the construction work in the assembly secretariat, the meeting was attended by the officials of building department, National College of Arts (NCA), Punjab Assembly Senior Secretary Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Fazal Ahmed Khalid.
