Nearly 9,000 ton opium was being cultivated in Afghanistan, which was an alarming situation, he said. It was strange that a huge cache of narcotics amounting $150 billion was being smuggled from Afghanistan in the presence of the allied forces.

Khawaja Asif said that the US had failed to establish peace in Afghanistan. He said that the US was blaming Pakistan after its failure in Afghanistan. 1. Afghanistan is the only country that provides shelter to foreign terrorists to fight local terrorists. Afghanistan is one of those countries that provide shelter & security to foreign troops to launch attacks on its neighbors.
