MUMBAI: After and an overall strong performance India beat Sri Lanka by 5 wickets in the 3rd and final T20 to sweep the series 3-0.
After winning the toss and opting to field, Indian bowlers restricted Sri Lanka to 135/7 in 20 overs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Jaydev Unadkat and debutant Washington Sundar bowled beautifully to put the visitors on the backfoot. Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya also stemmed the run flow and picked up wickets.
The Indian batsmen were able to chase the target in 19.2 overs with Manish Pandey and Shreyas Iyer being the top-scorers.
India Cricket team is in good hand. there is no comparison of Indian team between any other team. India beat Sri Lanka to clinch T20 series proves this.
