RAWALPINDI: American Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale complained that the United States was not made part of the projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to media reports, US Ambassador David Hale paid an unexpected visit to the office of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), where he met the leaders of FPCCI.

According to the sources, while talking to the leaders of FPCCI, the American envoy complained that his country was not asked to be involved in the CPEC. He said that China was given special preference, while the US was overlooked; adding that the inclusion of the US in CPEC will have positive outcomes.

However, FPCCI leaders told the Ambassador that the US refrained from making heavy investment in Pakistan’s time of need.

  1. Haha…. Pakistan never excluded US from CPEC. US itself doesn’t want to be a part of CPEC as some rogue elements in US support “Free Balochistan” movement and the US supervises base camps of BLA, BLA & UBA in Kandahar, Afghanistan
