UNITED NATIONS: United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday strongly condemned the suicide bomb and gun attack on a Methodist church in Quetta that left at least nine people dead and many others injured.

In a statement read out by his spokesman at the regular noon briefing, the secretary-general called for the perpetrators of the deadly attack to be brought to justice.

“He (the UN chief) extends his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured.” the statement added.
