SHEIKHUPURA: Federal Minister for Defence Production and Science and Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain has said that the government, all political parties, nation and armed forces have jointly fought the war against terrorism and eradicated the menace, and the remnants of terrorists will also be finished.
He said that the issue of FATA will not be politicised and will be solved within the coming days.
He said that the country, from 1999 to 2013, remained under the rule of a dictator and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and in their eras, the country’s economy deteriorated as a crisis of power and terrorism were rampant.
Rana Tanveer Hussain further said that their government, in the last four and a half years, put the country on the road to progress and peace prevailed. He added that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in politics and ensured that the PML-N will win the upcoming elections overwhelmingly on the basis of its performance.
He said while talking to journalists Imamia Colony (NA-132) while inaugurating the Sui gas and other projects.
