MULTAN: The lawyers continue staging protests and a sit-in for the fourth day today against the shifting of courts to the new judicial complex. The lawyers reiterated the resolve to continue staging the protest till the acceptance of their demands.
They vowed to not go to the facilities-deprived new judicial complex building until the construction of a lawyers chamber and facilities are ensured.
Demanding shifting courts back to old premises the protesting lawyers chanted slogans in support of their demands saying that they could not be submitted for submission by threats of arrest. It may be mentioned here that the lawyers protest started on December 13 during which the lawyers went on a rampage breaking window glasses, furniture, doors of the judges’ rooms, and other things at the newly built building.
