Feasibility of a land route connecting Pakistan and Tajikistan through Wakhan corridor has been completed and tri-lateral agreement between Pakistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan is likely to be signed during 2011, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Zubaydullo Zubaydov disclosed here on Sunday.
He said this while addressing a press conference along with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Chief Executive Tariq Iqbal Puri, Senator Haji Ghulam Ali and Dr Mirza Iftikhar Baig. The ambassador said all countries in South and Central Asia should integrate as regional trade was the only model which could rid the country from economic crisis and poverty.

Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan has to move forward from studies and MOUs and start upon the real work to build the infrastucture needed. It should be through rail link and road.
