Daska residents overpower two dacoits

The residents of Daska caught the two dacoits who were escaping after snatching Rs 100,000 at gunpoint from Muhammad Arshad of village Mundeyki Goraya and handed them over to police. Reportedly, two dacoits were escaping after looting a trader and injuring him on resistance. All of a sudden, their motorcycle slipped and they fell down on the road.
One of the outlaws was injured seriously as his pistol went off. A mob of the people gathered there and caught the accused. Later, the Daska police reached there and the people handed the dacoits to them. The dacoits were later identified as Muhammad Ashraf of Hafizabad and Muhammad Jamil of Gujranwala. The police shifted the injured dacoit and the trader to Daska Civil Hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.
173 PLOTS ALLOTTED UNDER JINNAH ABADI SCHEME: The Punjab government has allotted 173 residential plots to Daska tehsil’s deserving people under Jinnah Abadi Scheme. MNA Sahibzada Syed Murtaza Ameen told newsmen that 22 five-marla plots had been allotted in village Kandan Sayyan, 38 in village Naanokey, 43 in village Mianwali Bangla, 28 in Satrah and 42 in Maanjhipur village.
PML-N MNA Sahibzada Syed Murtaza Ameen distributed the letters of ownership rights of the plots among 173 deserving people under the Punjab government’s Jinnah Abadi Scheme at a special ceremony on Sunday.
