LAHORE: A female student of the Punjab University was crushed to death by a bus in Muslim Town area on Wednesday.
Irum Manzoor, a student of the Statistics Department, was crossing the road when a bus hit her. She was taken to hospital where she died.
In their grief and anger over the incident, students staged a demonstration and blocked the road, demanding the immediate arrest of the driver.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and ordered an immediate arrest of the driver.
