CTD foils terrorist attack in Peshawar

Peshawar: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has claimed to have foiled a potential terror bid in Qazi Kaly area of Peshawar.

According to sources, on a tip-off about the explosives being taken to Peshawar from Nowshera, a CTD team conducted a prompt operation in Qazi kaly area and arrested two terrorists Rahimullah and Zabiullah, when they were trying to transport the explosives into Peshawar on Wednesday.

The Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) was later successfully defused the explosive device, weighing some three kilograms. The arrested terrorists were shift to undisclosed location for further investigations.
