Martyred Captain Mubeen’s mother inaugurates underpass named after son

LAHORE: Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique was present along with martyred Captain (r) Ahmad Mubeen’s mother at the inauguration ceremony of Gurumangat road underpass named after the martyred captain.

Provincial Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, Advisor to Chief Minister Khawaja Ahmad Hassan, DIG (Deputy Inspector General) Operation Dr Haider Ashraf and other senior police officials were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

Captain (r) Ahmad Mubeen was martyred during a terrorist attack on Mall Road, Lahore while performing his duties as DIG Traffic Police.

Saad Rafique congratulated the relevant authorities for the successful completion of the one-kilometre-long underpass which cost Rs500 million.

Furthermore, he expressed gratitude towards family members of Martyred captain Ahmad Mubeen for showing up at the ceremony.
