KARACHI: Expressing concern over what he called “trampling of human rights” by the Pakistan Muslim League-Noon (PML-N) government, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that violations of human rights could not be tolerated in any civilized country.
In a statement issued to mark International Human Rights Day on Sunday, Bilawal said that the PPP is also a national movement for the protection of human rights besides being a political party.
Bilawal said that in countries with democratic traditions human rights rule supreme, adding that his party established constitutional and legal bodies to ensure the protection of human rights.
