Most of Queen Elizabeth’s wardrobe including her dresses, hats and coats are bright, colourful and uniquely her own.

However, in a recent meeting with the High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria George Oguntade and his wife, both the parties ended up wearing nearly identical outfits.

The 91-year-old monarch wore a white, purple and green floral dress and although Mr and Mrs Oguntade didn’t wear exactly the same pattern, it was strikingly similar.

George Oguntade wore the traditional Nigerian male garb known as an agbada, while his wife wore the Buba and Gele.

Luckily, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and paid no heed to the almost matching outfits.

The representatives from Nigeria were meeting with the Queen at Buckingham Palace to present a letter of credence.
