KARACHI: Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair at the Governor House on Friday and discussed the matters of mutual interest including increasing cooperation between the two provinces in various sectors.
Both the governors reaffirmed the need to ensure the best use of resources for both provinces’ economic prosperity and harmony, said an official statement on Friday.
The Sindh governor said that after restoration of peace and security,
Sindh province was moving in the right direction with an agenda of economic prosperity.
He said that with the federal government’s help, mega development projects of billions of rupees have been approved for Karachi, Hyderabad and other districts of the province, focusing on education, health and infrastructure. He said that with the execution of these projects, the living standards of the people of Sindh would significantly improve.
The Punjab governor appreciated the steps taken for the economic growth and development of Sindh and informed that steps were also being taken for the economic growth and development of Punjab.
