In wake of possible terror threats, Peshawar city, cantt and towns have been declared red zone areas while suburbs are not included in red zone.
According to security sources, after new surge of terrorism in the country Peshawar city, cantt and towns have been declared red zone areas and installation of CCTV cameras on all entry and exit points is afoot in this connection.
After declaration of red zone area, the entry of non-concerned vehicles in government departments in the area has been banned. The Law Enforcement agencies and the police have been equipped with latest facilities in red zones while police personnel have been deployed in plain uniforms to avert any untoward situation.
