ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari said Wednesday his party would form the next government in the Centre and provinces, adding that his party’s public gathering at Parade ground has proved that it is the greatest political force in the country.

Talking to a delegation of PPP KP chapter led by Humayun Khan, Zardari said the PPP was a party of every stratum of society which believed in emancipating the downtrodden population of Pakistan and for this reason whenever his party came to power it created employment opportunities for youth.

He said the PPP believed in the saying of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto that “political heaven is under the feet of the people”.

Zardari said that the people saw Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and that was why they loved him immensely.

Congratulating Amanullah Khan and Syed Ameer Hussain Shah Kazmi on the success in CDA’s Labor Union elections, the former president said the PPP was a pro-labour party and the union led by Amanullah Khan could serve the CDA labour more than any other group.
