ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday demanded resignation from Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah over the 2014 Model Town incident.
In a tweet, the PTI chief said that after the release of the Justice Ali Najafi judicial commission report, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah should “immediately resign for [the] killing of Pakistani citizens”.

On Tuesday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered the Punjab government to make the Model Town enquiry report public, in which 14 workers of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were killed and around 100 injured during the police action.
