Punjab PDWP approves development schemes worth Rs1616.5mn

LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PWDP) approved two development schemes of PPH and environment sectors with an estimated cost of Rs1616.5 million.

The stated schemes were approved in the 34th meeting of PDWP of the current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over by P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan here on Tuesday.

The approved development schemes include urban sewerage/drainage PCC slab and brick pavement, Bhakkar city, Bhakkar (amended) at the cost of Rs833.933 million and strengthening of strategic planning and implementation unit at the cost of Rs782.586 million.

The meeting was attended by members of the planning and development board, provincial secretaries concerned, P&D Coordination-II Assistant Chief Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments.
