Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds, besides snowfall over the hills, is expected at scattered places in Malakand Division and at isolated places in Hazara division, Gilgit-Baltistan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Kashmir in next 24 hours.
Cold and dry weather will continue in other parts of the country, however, shallow foggy conditions are likely over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours. According to a Met Office official, a westerly wave was likely to enter upper parts of the country at night between Sunday and Monday, which might persist during next two-three days.
During the last 24 hours, weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country, he added. The lowest temperatures recorded on Sunday were Quetta and Kalat -04 °C, Gilgit, Kalam and Gupis -03 °C, Skardu and Dir -02 °C, Chitral -01 °C, Murree 02 °C, Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 04 °C, Peshawar 05 °C , Lahore and Faisalabad 08 °C, Multan 09 °C, Karachi 13 °C, and Hyderabad 16 °C.
