Faculty of Pakistan kidney and liver transplant institute calls on Shehbaz Sharif

LAHORE: The faculty members of the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute (PKLTI) called on Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Talking to them, the Punjab Chief Minister, Shehbaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute (PKLI) will be made a role model; those attached to the noble profession of medicine shouldn’t go for protests, strikes; I salute those who quit foreign jobs to join Pakistan kidney and liver transplant institute.

He said that they have a huge responsibility of serving the distressed humanity and that they have a vital role in making it a great institute for which they should work day and night.

Shehbaz said that the PKLI is a state-of-the-art project run by a trust. He said that the Punjab government has provided resources worth billions of rupees for this project, adding that his determination to serve humanity is not hidden from anybody.

He observed that strikes and protests do not suit the people attached to the noble profession of medicine, therefore there will be no strikes and protests in this institute. He also said that all recruitments have been made transparently.

The CM said that Quaid-e-Azam had made a separate country for justice and equal opportunities for all in education and healthcare. Every citizen has equal rights without any discrimination of colour, creed and race, however, 70 years have passed and this dream has not been realised as we have forgotten the great sacrifices of our forefathers.

He said that we should ignore the past and proceed forward for the betterment of the country and that he will always available from the depth of his heart for this institute.
