LAHORE: A 19-year-old boy was scorched after being set on fire over a petty issue in the provincial capital on Saturday.
Police said that the culprits, who are two brothers, accused the boy named Arshad of stealing their cell phone set him on fire after sprinkling kerosene oil in Nawab Town Lahore.
The boy was rushed to the burn unit of Jinnah Hospital in critical condition. His face was severely burnt; however, he is said to be out of danger now.
The culprits fled the scene after committing the crime and the police after registering a case against them started raids for their arrest.
