Schoolchildren get lectures on traffic rules

On the direction of SSP Muhammad Tariq Chohan, the Kasur traffic police arranged lectures in various schools to educate the children about traffic rules. DSP Humaira Tabasum led the traffic police’s team to various schools. SI Bilal Jameel told the students the importance of helmet while driving a motorcycle. Bilal said mostly accidents occured due to recklessness on the part of bike riders who gave scant regard to traffic rules.
Traffic police educated the students about the dangers of wheelies. They said it was a dangerous game and could not be justified under any circumstances. An official briefed the students about 1124 Helpline. The students listened to the lectures attentively. The police said they enjoyed interacting with the students.
CLERKS GO ON STRIKE: The All Pakistan Clerk Association went on strike in Kasur against the low salaries and rising prices. They staged a sit in outside the DCO’s office. APCA office bearer Manzoor Ahmed office said rising prices have life miserable for them and they cannot provide for their children.
MOTORCYCLISTS KILLED: A man was killed in a collision of motorcycles in village Budhoke in the Changa Manga Police precincts . Farzand was going on his motorcycle when he rammed into another motorcycle. Farzand died instantly. Police have registered a case.
ROBBERR GANG BUSTED: Kasur police have arrested a gang involved in various robberies. SHO Mian Moazzam raided a place in plainclothes and arrested two robbers Jahanzaib and Faroq while their accomplice managed to escape. They were wanted in various robbery cases. Police arrested cash and valuables from their possession.
