Peshawar CCP arrest 95 outlaws, recover arms, drugs

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Capital City Police (CCP) on Tuesday arrested 95 outlaws, including proclaimed offenders (POs), and recovered arms and drugs from them during separate actions.

In line with directives of Peshawar Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Tahir Khan and under Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) (Operations) Sajjad Khan, several operations were conducted against outlaws in different areas of the city, including Cantonment, Saddar and rural parts.

During the operations, 95 outlaws, including 35 POs and 21 illegal residents, were detained with seven .30 bore pistols, one 9mm pistol, 2.5 kilogrammes of hashish and 23 bottles of liquor.

The police confiscated the recovered arms and drugs while interrogations were initiated after separate cases had been registered against the detainees at the concerned police stations.
