FAISALABAD: A youth committed suicide over financial constraints in Mansoora Abad police station area on Monday.
Police stated that 26-year-old Adnan Maqsood, a resident of Chak No.203-RB had been jobless since long and he ended his life by swallowing poisonous pills.
The police have handed over the body to his relatives after completing necessary formalities.
Widow found murdered
In another incident, a widow was found murdered, in the jurisdiction of Lundianwala police station.
According to police sources, Rukhsana Bibi, a resident of Chak No.587-GB was asleep in her cattle pen when some unidentified persons shot her dead. The police have sent the body for postmortem.
