KARACHI: Shaheen Air International (SAI) Chief Commercial Officer Faisal Rafique unveiled the 25 years celebration logo of the airline at Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) on Saturday.
The airline also announced the launch of ‘shine miles’, SAI’s loyalty card, along with its revamped website and web application to enable its flyers with a smoother experience.
PTM is an initiative of Landmark Communications in collaboration with Shaheen Air. The idea behind the expo is to promote inbound, outbound and domestic travel in Pakistan. PTM is a platform for the entire travel industry and travel buyers to connect, collaborate and explore business opportunities.
The event is a curtain raiser for SAI, as 2018 marks the Silver Jubilee for the airline. SAI will initially be launching classic and gold cards for customers with mile accumulation on flying with SAI, along with corporate cards to entertain corporate travelling. The airline has revamped its website with a refreshing new look in line with their new identity.
Speaking at PTM, Faisal said, “Pakistan travel mart is an exciting initiative and we decided to support it as we feel that it is our responsibility to promote the local aviation industry; a role we are willingly playing as Pakistan’s largest private carrier. I believe this expo will definitely help us in improving our industry’s image on a global level, while also galvanising Pakistan’s tourism industry.”
SAI is currently operating 8 local and 12 international flights from the country and diligently playing its due role in the aviation sector to promote tourism and trade in the country.
